Tour 1: Lincoln Assassination Tour with guide Max Broad

Journey back in time with a DC local and vegan tour guide to learn about a last ditch stand to hand control over to the Confederate Government. Let history come alive before your very eyes as you take in the facts, myth, and hidden history of the band of rebels who assassinated the 16th President and the impact that had on the nation. Join AVA attendee Max Broad, who has been giving official DC walking tours for nearly a decade as a fun side hustle when he is not leading DC Voters for Animals.

Where to meet: Meet in front of the White House at 8:30 PM (or meet at the hotel lobby at 8pm to share a ride) as we share cabs to the meeting point to step back in time back to 1860s Washington. Register to receive more information.

Max capacity: 30

Price: This tour is free, but you need to sign up! *Link provided above.

Tour 2: Self-Guided Monuments at Night

The views of Washington DC at night are spectacular! Coordinate and meet independently at 8pm in the hotel lobby to share a ride into the city.

Suggested Itinerary:

Starting near the White House go south towards the Washington Monument. When you're ready to move on go west to the WWII Memorial, walking past the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial on your way to the Lincoln Memorial. From there you can visit the Korean Veterans Memorial, then down Independence Avenue towards the Martin Luther King Memorial. If you want more, head south along the Tidal Basin, then it's possible to walk to the Franklin Roosevelt Memorial and the Jefferson Memorial.

Gather with friends for Vegan Drinks,

offering a perfect opportunity to unwind and reflect on the night's adventures.

Sober folx welcome!

May 15th from 7:30pm to 9:30 pm @ 1633 P ST NW, Washington, DC

We did some research and found some great options to consider in conjunction with DC Night Tours.

If you'd like to have dinner before meeting at 8pm, consider independently organizing a group meal before the tour at the renowned Wok & Roll, a Chinese restaurant with a fascinating historical backdrop tied to assassination lore.

Alternatively, after the tour, keep the party going and indulge in delicious milkshakes at Hip City Veg, or gather to unwind enjoying Vegan Drinks — offering a perfect opportunity to unwind and reflect on the night's adventures.

Whether you opt for a pre-tour gathering, post-tour treats, or join us for the tour itself, DC Night Tours promises an evening of exploration and discovery.
